Sorry, I know nuttin about them Shuttle boxes.
As small as they are, I can't help but think of heat issues in them, and the restrictions on what you can put in them.
I tripped across some pretty active forums once that were dedicated to Shuttle PCs, you might see what Google shows.

Just build one
With that about of money, you should be able to buy all the best bits,
Go for a amd not a intel
More ram the better,
And I think its best not to go for a mobo with anything built on,
Get a dx9 video card like the ATI Radeon 9800XT
A 7200 rpm hard drive
And a DVDRW +/- 6 SPEED if you can find one
Os windows xp or 2000, don’t go for windows me just in case you want to do any networking, better to setup with xp or 2000

If ur goin' for an AMD system may i suggest the following:
~ABIT NF7-S
~ CORSAIR MEMORY XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, (Twin Pack) 512MB(2 x 256MB) or 1GB(2x512MB)
~AMD Athlon XP 2500+ OEM
~Enermax UC-9FAB fan
~THERMALRIGHT SLK-947U
~ATI RADEON 9800 PRO (not much of a difference in speed VS the cost)
~Western Digital Raptor 36GB SATA10,000 RPM 8MB cache Hard Drive
the rest u can pick urslef. The board has an awesome on-board sound, wich stands up to AUDIGY 2.This is what i would buy on that budget. I have an ABIT NF7-S (2.0) myslef, and couldn't be happier. Gonna get the same stuff soon too.
