Hello

I am writing to ask for some help to a problem I keep getting regularly when
playing games.
The problem I have is that everytime I play a game(any game)(except demos) it lets me play it
for awhile and then the screen goes black and all you can hear is the last sound
made in the game repeating its self.

Has anybody had or know of anybody having the same problem as me, if so do you know how I
can get rid of this problem?

plz help me ASAP as I can't play any games at the moment & I would like to get rid of this
as Hale-Life 2 has will be out soon, & many other games like halo, call of duty and I am anxious
to play it.

Cheers & thanks in advance

NSC

My System Specs Are:

Motherborad: ASUS A7N266-VM
AMD Athlon XP 2200+
1GB DDR 2100 RAM
GeForce FX 5600 256MB DDR (45.23 Drivers)
SB Live! 1024
WindowsXP Professional + SP1, DirectX9.0b

If your computer just stops responding whenever you are running programs that
requires alot of cpu power , it could be something wrong with the cpu cooling. You
should check the cooling paste , see if it has been pushed aside by the cpu core or somehting like that. worked for me

NSC, stop posting all over the damn forums.

Post one thread. And FYI, your computer is seriously screwed up. Get and anti-virus program or do a reformat.

i think the easiest way to settle ur prob is to do a reformat of ur hard disk... n after that take a look at ur cpu cooling, as u know amd generate a lot of heat...
