Does anyone know anything about the Matrox cards? Are they any good for gaming? I know about their tripple monitor thing and it seems pretty gimicky as far as gaming applications go.

they're definitely not suited for gaming. matrox cards can be very good for 2d apps, video editing, photoshop etc etc, but they're very far behind when it comes to games. being able to use several monitors is cool and all, but it lowers the framerate so much when playing games that it's just not a viable solution, but again - useful for 2d stuff.
