Max Payne 2 Crashes

hi there, I've some kind of strange crash of MP2. It turns back to Windows everytime, but in different time. Sometime just in the menu, sometime after 1st animation or during playing. None error notice. Nothing. I've reinstalled DirectX from MP2 CD and all of my drivers are up-to-date. What should I do with it ?

AMD Athlon1700XP@1,79
Radeon9000 Excalibur
512 DDR
MS WinXP Pro SP1

Well, try reinstalling the game and check if it's working or just buy a new PC and game.....

hello.did u use Cathalyst 3.8? i have a Radeon 9100 and after installing it, i had many problems. I read also that the lasta release of ati driver gives problen to radeon 9800. so it can be the problem of crashes. u can also download the patch 1.01 that fix some things.

Am I the only one who doesn't have probs with 3.8??
I use the Omega driver for my Rad 97 which is basicly a tweaked 3.8 driver and it runs 1A.
