Image Ready 7.0

Do any of you PhotoShop guys know if Adobe Image Ready 7.0 is the same thing as PhotoShop 7.0? The disc says PhotoShop 7.0 but when I insall it it says Image Ready 7.0. Who knows?

image ready looks somewhat like photoshop, but its use is different. while photoshop is used for image editing you can use image ready for web specific stuff, like slicing images, making animations, tweaking filesizes, and so on

Thanks for the tip. :thumbup: One other queston though. Is Image Ready 7.0 an expesive piece of software like Photo Shop 7.0? I know Photoshop 7 is like a $670.00 product, is IR7.0 similar in price?

Image Ready supposed to come with Photoshop. It's a sidegag like KPT

Well, KPT is an addon, so it's not really the same :dennis:
