PES 3 Poor Performance Issue

Hi guys could any of you shed some light on my problem.

I have a p4 2.4 Ghz machine with 256MB Ram and a GeForce 5200FX Graphics card in however Pro Evl Soccer 3 runs like a dog. I have the resolution on low quality without any success. Can anyone out there give me any tips on how I can improve things

i have exactly the same problem and no one seemed to be able to help me out.
i tried updating my graphics drivers and that made the game speed up but all the textures went weird and messed up.
i suggest you try the same thing and hope that you get better results than i did.

also: it didn't work for me but... have you installed the latest patch?
if not, it's available here

Im runnin P4 2.5, GF4 420mx, 256 ram. All my drivers up to date and the latest (1.10.2) patch installed, still no joy. Cant even get to the menu screen without the game crashing. I can hear the button sounds and the game music but thats it. :nxs: Ive ran out of ideas totally. Please help.

have you checked that the latest version of direct x is installed on your system? (it should be supplied on the disk).

if that doesn't work, i had a problem similar to yours (with a black screen before the menu) but i couldn't hear any sounds.
i went to the directory of the game and in the data folder one of the files was missing the '.afs' extension, so i added that and it worked.
it still ran in slow mo when i finally got into the game though :Oo:
