tech issues in MGS 2 PC

I know MGS 2 PC has a lotta issues i still bought it cause im obsessed over it. well i fixed the sound issues, for some odd reason now i cant save. and also im using a pad and i cant reconfigure the controls to be relative to PS2 i can remap keyboard controls though.

not being able to save is critical

I'm no expert but have you tried the old stand by of just reinstalling the game? For wierd flukes like the one your describing a resinstall usually seems to work for me.
