I called FrozenCPU today and I asked them if I could send my Antec 480W PSU and have them complete a modular conversion with wire sleeving. The person I spoke to was very amicable and he told me it would not be a problem but that there would be a $70 charge. I asked him if that includes the wire sleeving and he replied yes.

I hung up the phone and I proceeded to take out my power supply and prep it for shipping. Here is a picture of my power supply:

The power supply is ready to go and as you can tell from the picture the power supply wiring can be quite messy straight out of the box.

Here is a picture of a completed modular power supply from FrozenCPU.com:

I will keep you up to date with the progress and I will be posting another picture of the finished product. Take care people. Merry Christmas.

I finally received the power supply. Here are the pictures of the finished product. FrozenCPU.com charged me $70 for the modular conversion and to have the wires sleeved in UV reactive green. They did an excellent job and the conversion is well worth the money. Thank you FrozenCPU!

Looks pretty good, but can you explain to people like me, what the advantages are of having this conversion?

There are several advantages for the modular conversion. With this converted power supply you can save space, provide better air flow and if you have a windowed case it gives the inside a more tidy look.

I do not use all of the wires provided with this power supply so now I can eliminate a few unwanted wires. For example, I only need 2 connectors for the 1 DVD drive and 1 CD-RW drive and 1 more connector for the hard drive. The other wires are for the motherboard and fans. I can eliminate whatever I do not need to use.
