i just had to show this to the world
i got a cheap ass stick of memory, it was like the cheapest i could get, 256mb ddr from twinmos but using chips by m-tec and this stick is pc2100 rated (266mhz) but im running this baby at get this 205mhz! (410mhz) synced with the FSB and all this at 6-3-3-2.5 timings and this gives me a memory bandwith of 910 with a friggin PC2100!!! can you say OH MY GOD i could most likley have gone higher with less aggressive timings but 910 suits me fine
seriously, its friggin unbelievable and i was like HOLY CRAP!
the memory is 100% stable, have tested it with memtest and everything is flawless.
this must be the best memory stick ever created in the world or i got MAD lucky and got a one of a kind
also both the memory voltage and the chipset voltage was at default

the reason i tested it so high was because my other pc3200 stick got broken so i had to buy a new one but i though wth lets test this baby and man was i suprised and now i wont have to buy another stick since this work just as good as my other pc3200 stick

thumps up for memory using m-tec

molle what you mean by 910 bandwidth is it 910 or 2910 or 3910?

and the scnd question is that does your mobo support dual channel memory architech. and if so are you using this memory in one or two channel mode (along with another stick)

by the way its interesting we have to analyse this to the details nice find if true you got to declare it in some OC forum.

and could you please post the full aspects of the rig that you had that memeory on,thnx.

if i had known that this stick was this friggin awesome i would have bough every stick they had
after testing some more (didnt have time to test more last time) its stable at 207mhz and 6-3-2-2.5 (944mb/sec memory bandwith) at default voltage im one damn happy camper

edit:
no the memory is beeing run in singlechannel, my mobo is just a nforce2 400 so not the ultra.
rest of the system is a xp1700@207x10 and a nforce2 board + the memory mentioned above.
case is a damn shitty one. no additional fans at all in the case and normal air cooling on the cpu and so on.
nothing special at all but still it works like a charm
and by 910 i mean 910mb/sec but read above its stable at 944mb/sec bandwith after more testing
944mb/sec is in memtest but the report for full memory bandwith in sisoft sandra is 3100mb/sec
maybe that got you confused.

that 910 got me confused cuz you should have somebandwidth close to 2600 Mb/s using DDR 266.so now you say you got 3100 with sandra mm weird.

as you know all the fuss about nforce2 mobo is how
high can you go using dual channel lad if you had another stick of that ram and they acted the same as you mentioned in dual channel mode it was a nice find.could you try that pls?

and in dual channel mode 6,3,2,2.5 is rather a relaxed timing.

by the way two thumb up for nForce 2 nice choice.
whats your mobo's brand and model?

i cant test dualchannel since my Epox 8RDAE doesnt support it.
i dunno about you but i find that a pc2100 memory running at 207mhz fsb giving a memory bandwith of 3100 (max memory bus is 3300) is rather AWESOME and a VERY VERY nice find even if it isnt in dual

and even if it was dual chan you have to remember its a pc2100 memory running at 6-3-2-2.5 and not a pc3200 so its rather VERY high timings in such speeds for a pc2100 stick
a pc2100 shuldnt even be able to handle such speeds..its insane

i had a 128stick of the exakt same memory but that stick couldnt handle more than 156fsb

after even further testing by raising the memory voltage to 2.9 the pc2100 stick is fully stable at get this 213FSB synced! and 6-3-2-2 timings giving me a total of ~3200mb/sec memory bandwith on a single channel board and a pc2100 stick..friggin insane
this is as far as it goes so i wont do any more updates now
