Far Cry problem!

When Far cry demo is loading to play my monitor goes off and my monitor is black. And some seconds later it goes on and i see all sorts of stripes. I have got a ATI radeon 9500pro/9700 so that must not be the problem at all and i also downloaded the Catalyst 4.2
Can anyone help me plzzz

Does this happen before you get to the main menu? If no then try changing the settings related to graphics in particular

My brother has a 9800pro 128mb and has the exact same problem.

It happens when i load it to play.Not from the desktop but from in the game (new game?)

Turn off anti-lasing then try running game. It looks like crap but it will run.

I putted it on anti-aliasing and it worked and it doesn't look like crap!
