9800 pro Question

I just got the card and sometimes when i boot up there are black hoizontal line acroos the desktop. And the resolution is set at 800x600. Any idea?

this is only when you start the pc, not when you play games?

are you sure the cooler works right?

Yea .. Only on boot up. Random too!! Its not all the time. If i change resolution higher or lower it goes away untill i change the resoulution back. Never happens in games. BTW I got this card last week. ROCKS!!! I ran SANDRA and everything checks out.

Its bugging me. I wonder if its the Hydravision?

maybe something turned out bad when you installed your card.
try different drivers for your gfx card, its easy and can solve many problems.

a simple reinstall of the same drivers can solve problems.

2ND PROB Im having. I run the desk top at 1024x768 and i run games at 1600x1200. When the game exits the desktop is set at 1600x1200 and does not go back to 1024x768. Any ideas?
