Far Cry demo don't work - Page 2

Hmm, I had a couple of graphical issues with Far Cry demo: (Ati Rad9800 Pro-Cat4.3)

Problem if I turn Anti-aliasing OFF (unusual), all i can see is the background ie sky + no rendered images. The gun was also sometimes shaky (as if he was cold or summut!) and would cover the whole field of view when aiming. I must use 2x anti-aliasing for it to work properly. Not complaining tho, looks nicer with it on!

Problem if I turn aniso filtering ON, the shadowing becomes extremely blocky and sometimes inappropriate. So I've gotta turn mine off. I actually prefer it off sometimes.

Still, hope they fixed this already before it went gold.

:rant: you dudes, i have the same prob man!!!!

i have a 2000 512 ddr with a 128 ddr gforce ti 4800se man and also the same probs,

only the background and the rest blue.
i have made meself mad over it. dog.

so what can i , in heavens name do???????????

the demo definately has some compatibility issues but the full game seems really stable had a friend whos demo didnt work hardly but full game ran perfect on his nvidia card

Check the other post about far cry, it sounds like the same prob that he had, for far cry to work on nvidia cards fog table emulation MUST be enabled or else you get that weird everything is blue problem.

HI,

i have 786 ram athlon 2000xp+ (1,7ghz) and club 3d radeon 9600 pro!!!
but if i want to change resolution. higher off course or anti aliasing on,
than if i will play it, it wont load and then i have to install the game again

:nxs: :bucky!: Really weird! I can turn everything on high on 1024 and it works smoothly but if i change resolution than it wont load,
my friend has the same problem (2,4 ghz pentium4 512 ram and sapphire radeon 9600 pro) maybe is it a bug from radeon cards. but i dont think that. has someone also those problems??

ps: i am dutch, my english is very bad(i guess)
