Hello,
i have a Liteon DVD player and a Liteon CD-RW
but these thingies wont work,
my burner doesn't wants to burn and read burned cds i can read normal cds
and my dvd player wont read!!!!!

maybe you are burning with unsupported media?
if thats not the case, check if there is some firmware update available.
the disc that your dvd cant read are they good?
the reader can have a tough time reading them if they blow.

Make sure your burner is on the same cable as your hd,
I had the same touble untill i need that :thumbup:

No, don't put the burner on the same cable as the hd. The PATA system always sets the data rate of both the drives according to the slowest one. So unless you want your HD to run at CD-Rom speeds, I suggest you keep your HD and CD-Drive separate.

And, transfer speeds are always slower between devices on the same IDE channel (Interleaved transfer), because the sytsem can't access two different drives on the same channel simultaneously.
