ATI or NVIDIA???

Well i thought i'd start this poll because i know there are always so many arguments concerning these two Companies so i wanna know which one everyone prefers :Oo:

nice idea for a post m8, yeh i admit i do prefer ATI, i find that this company gives us wot us the gamer really wants, excellent gamin power for an affordable price. I currently run an ATI Radeon 9600 256ddr card and it runs better than anythin i tried so far (excludin the 9800 pro/XT :thumbup: )

To be honest though u got to admit, wot sort of weak company wuld promote their products with a dam 'fairy"???? i mean come on, weak, fairy, nvidia. Strings along like it was ment to be said when u roll it off the tongue, personally i will always stand by ATI promoting their cards with strength (which is wot they are) in the form of a gargoyle or devilish helmet/face.
So just b4 all u nvidia fanboys, no actually, FAIRY boys start slagging off ATI and me for that matter just remember that a gargoyle will always kick a fairys a*s just like wot ATI are doing to Nvidia on the graphics card market. And no the NV40 is nuthin special to me from nvidia, its just another nvidia stunt to draw in more people through advertising rather than true facts, ATI hasnt had to buy into games to get recognised, they only produce hard solid goods which run great on any game out there unlike Nvidia and the deus ex: invisible war stunt "if u have an MX supported graphics card u will not be able to play this game" oh dear, once again they lose out and they prob lost sales for poor ol eidos in the process, another example wuld be project IGI, again another great game which culd not run on a Nvidia graphics card.
Maybe one day nvidia willl listen to gamers and not their own views and i can personally say myself that the Catalyst drivers are def the best compared to Nvidias advertising hyped up rubbish, :rant: :P

well must admitt NVIDIA sucks right now with it's FX Blowers... and the 9800PRO is only ONLY 199€ then... well ATI right now plus it aint so goddamn noisy.

I only hate Nvidia because of the constant embarrassment my mx440 gave me infront of my friends boo-hoo lol

my Radeon 9500 Pro 128mb @ 9700 Pro BIOS and 380/320 ownz your 9600 :P

More like 'If you have an Mx card you dont deserve to live' - Trust me, i used to own one, they suck hard.

I beg to differ, i think the Cats and the Dets are almost even now, in performance. But nVidia always bring out new drivers that dont cause crashes in games etc, which ATi's Cats seem to do more often than nVidia.

Also, this should be in the Hardware section!

yeah ati is the way to go now but speaking of drivers, nvidia really owns ati in that department.
i can still use older 4x.xx drivers on any game and not get any problems whatsoever.
its a fact that nvidias drivers are more friendly to games
