help,im stupid

ok...ive downloaded a coupla demos (farcry and deuxex 2) but they didnt auto start installing.
how the hell do i get em to work???
im pretty computer illiterate,i must admit.cheers for any advice,(other than sell my pc)

When you download the Demos, go to the files location ( where you downloaded it from), and open the file. The file should contain some kind of installing device, open that file, and it should start installing
