Lagg on Battlefield Vietnam

I have almost always a lagg when I play Battlefield Vietnam. What can I do to reduce the lagg. I have got ADSL as far as i know and I always have a ping on CS about 30. SO.. Plz.. help me because I don't want a lagg anymore!!!!!
Maybe there is a program or something to reduce laggs..but plz help me!

My computer is: P4 2.5Ghz, 512MBram, ATI radeon 9500pro/9700.

ps: Since a month I also got a lagg on CS about 100..

hmm, only thing you can do except changing ISP is formatting and reinstalling everything, minus whatever adware that might've snuck its way in

alright, ive played the game ALOT recently! and SOS your NOT ALONE!!! everyone has the same problem! (almost everyone) its an issue with the game itself. Apparently Dice, and ea, didnt optimize it enough to handle internet. it could also just be new game syndrome (people just put too many on their servers)... thats all-and no, you dont have to reformat@!

Interman is right dude not much you can do my best guess is tons of adware got on your comp soo you must remove it. Or maybe your ISP is doing maintainence work or your area is having connection problems it could be just about anything. To remove adware and popups one easy simple way is to go START then RUN then type services.msc and a window will pop up of all the servies on your local system and look for MESSENGER right click go properties and then in startup type choose disabled. BUt thta won't remove all you have to go get adware remove software.

i have dsl, i get, usually 120-130 ping on most games(call of duty, bf1942, halo,...) but on this game-its a completely different story-SOOO MANY poeple are complaing about it- just log on to ANY server, you ll see how laggy it is, people keep saying "why is it so laggy?" over and over and over-its gettin freakin annoying!!!

WOW you got dsl and your getting 120-130 ping on those games i would expect it to be alot less. Maybe its just the server your playing on but you should get 60 and lower on some games if you play on servers appropriate to your location. I usually get 50-60 and lots of times 40 and lower especially on counterstrike but usually 40-60 on games like warcraft 3, halo,bf1942, CS, unreal 2004, RoN and so on. Anyways your right phobos everyone has been lagging on vietnam I have lagged quite a bit but sometimes it was no lag at all but on the whole alot of people have experienced lag.

The only time i really get lag in the game is when i join the servers witch have like 62 people in them, so i try to stay around the 32 people ones :P
