Ok i have a SMALL problem and i hope one of you dudes can help me: My problem is when i search for a screen on the internet i find much beautifull screenies(DUH) but when i want to use one as wallpapers i just click right mouse and use as background, till here everythingy normal, but then i go to my desk and.....well dunno how to call it, my screen(from 1600x1200) looks like one of 540x350(or something like that) and i dont realy know HOW  , i think its something with the option to play movies on your PC and also see on your TV(dont know the exact name) because i ones used that option my max resolution is 2048x1536 :Oo: , i tought Now that strange, mayby that has to do something with it I HOPE I DISCRIBED MY PROBLEM WELL ENOUGH THX

I don't really understand your problem maybe you could explain better but here are some options.
1) i'm sure u tried this but: Go to control panel properties and then display and change screen resolution
2) The tv thing your talking about is S-video out or some call it video out its in the back of your video card and using a s-video cable u can connect to a tv(video cards come with this stuff and how to set it up) Your right it could have something to do with tjis so look in your video card manual
3) Sometimes installing or reinstalling monitor drivers helps. your monitor should have come with one of these driver setup cd-roms.

Are you sure the screenshot is of a high enough res? If you set a lower res screenshot onto a high res desktop, it has to stretch it and you end up being able to see all the pixels ie as if your screen is set to low res. You just need to find screenshots that are 1600x1200 or near, which arent common. Even 1200x900 screenies are gonna look pixelated at your screen res!
You probably already know this, and ive just sounded completely patronising! Sry!

Photoshop 7 and that Windows Picture Vieuwer( or something like that, but i dont think that's the problem)
