Joint Ops problems

I just downloaded this demo...and its freakin amazing..the only problem..i have to disable my firewall for me to connect to novaworld and to get the server lists...HAS anyone ELSE had this problem? is there a way to fix it? thanks..

its good? downloaded it but havent played it wasnt to excited about it i'll let you know if i have the same prpoblem Zone alarm loves to screw up my games so i'm sure i'll get the same problem

ok i tried to go on it but told me i had to update already so quitted tried updating and it just gives me some dumb error message saying to restart the updater sod it

damn, that sucks, well there is an update-i did that using the ingame menu..and everything went fine-i still have to disable my norton firewall(which scares me a little), other than that-IT IS, in my opinion, MUCH better than BATTLEFIED vietnam....this is my opinoin-graphically-its rocks=it smacks battlefield's ass! smooth gameplay and UP TO 80 PLAYERS!!!! is that not awesome?

OH never mind, i just tried to run it..and loe and behold, the game says, "update", then i do it, and it gives me a freakin warning.."problem w/ update.exe?" wtf? ok this is pissin me off! i guess ill try to unistall the game...and reinstall, maybe itll work..

i just reinstalled it, and it FINALLY contacted the server, but the download speed for the update WAS HORRIBLY slow-.70kb/s!!! i guess ill have to try later...their server must be bogged down.

I get the same problem. Now its an FTP server connect error trying
to reach the update server.

My guess is this is Novalogic's way of saying "Trial over" go buy it

Man the game is amazing, flying in the back of a chopper land sea
air, the way the choppers look flying overhead, the rush of piling
out of a sea carrier on an armored ATV just stuff I have never seen
in a game... great game! I was addicted after 5 min of playing.

Took me a while to figure out how to switch my character class.


Dammit I hope Novalogic fixes this soon, I wanna play it again

Lmao!!!!!!!!! that could be not far from the truth! too bad, its not comin out till may! and the shadows are the best ive ever seen-i mean-you see youR OWN shadow!! you seee the helicopter shadow! you see trees shadows changing as the day changes! the sun rises and sets!

It is a demo not a trail and thefore can be played until your hearts content. I just played it last night. Tis a pretty sweet game. I must say I like the fact that the helos hover by themeelves. I think the sniper rifels could use some tweaking though
