Cooler

It was a monday i think, i just came back from school(ow no), and put on my PC.
Well i noticed that there was no f**ked up sounds from my graphic card..... :Oo: Strange
Well i put my PC open and looked, my Graphic Card cooler wasent Rotating(turning wathever)
I cleaned it up and it startet rotating again.
BUT the strange thing is, How can my PC still work wenn my Graphic Card cooler isent working

The GeForce2Mx200 can run without any cooling :P i mean remove the heatsink too it works fine.
But the card can work for some time cuz the fan is just keeping it cool... if it dies then the card heats up and in some while burns alive :Oo:

isn't it like this?

the video card works always
but not fast enough
when the overclock and put a cooler on it it goes much faster
so when the cooler doesn't works it will go on their normal speed, slower but still functional

or am i wrong (also possible)

Well it could be, but i thought it would be a bit liek a CPU, without a Cooler........BOOM(well not realy but just burns)
But now i shaw my grahic card Could run Without a cooler

I HAVE a cooler on my graphic card dudes(for the ones that got me wrong , but i just quitet )
I have a Radeon 9600pro form Connect 3d(not realy good)
Aah well the problem is solved already cause it works again but still i think its kinda strange :Oo:

the 9600pro isn't clocked to run very fast, so it doesn't get very warm either. you can cool it enough with a rather large heatsink, but i wouldn't experiment with running the card with no cooling at all.
