Colin 4 runs terribly on 9600PRO

I have a HERCULES 9600pro. Colin mcrae rally 4 runs terribly on my computer, and I know that it should fly (the demo did). I tried changing different options in the game, and even 640/480 , everything LOW or OFF didnt make a change. I chcecked on catalyst 3.8 and 4.3 still the same. The card sould be fine 3500points in 3DMark2003. Im into selling this card (only problems) and getting GAINWARD 5900XT (what do you think of this choice?? ), but still the game should run smoothly and it doesn't !!

Please think of something what might be the cause of this problem...

hmm, sounds as if something's wrong. you should try waiting for a patch or something, because this doesn't sound hardware related. the 5900xt should give you a very nice boost btw

But the problem is that even on FX5200 it should run smoothly, and mine 9600pro is way better than this fx. And the performance even on lowest settings is a tragedy I dont get it !!!!

i have also a problem !
if i'm trying to run cmr 4 it says:
The instruction on 0x77f95096 refered to memory on 0x00020664. the read of write compilation ("read") on the memory has been failed.

or in dutch:
De instructie op 0x77f95096 verwijst naar het eheugen op 0x00020664. de lees- of schrijfbewerking ("read") op het geheugen is mislukt.

but the rare thing is that if i'm trying to play it and try it 5 times or more it works!

hoping this patch will come soon!

It is going ok but SOMETHIMES creapy when im uasing 640x480
and when 1024x768 fps is the same but somethimes goin tricky :Oo:
its devinately game need a patch!

I'd wait for a patch, the only case ive heard of this happening is on pirated versions of cm4.
