Hey guys.. i have just got the game, but it wont start up.. when i try to run it.. it shows me this window with "General protection fault!

History: ConfigUI <- InitEngine"

Im on athlonxp 2400+, radeon 9600xt 128mb, 1024ddr ram, running windows XP sp1.

im doing this game diagnosis, but it shows me that i have everything just fine, which means it lies :P

but anyway i have tried to install some catalyst drivers for my videocard 4.4 for example still the same problem.. they say that i need to get all new drivers for everything then it will work, im saying i got new drivers for everything and it doest, so i dont know whats going on maybe its my PC doesnt want me to play this game or im doing something wrong.. oh by the way.. about soundcard.. i have it on my mamaboard, so there is like one driver i can install for it.. i have abit NF-7S...

maybe u can help.. or something

hmm, that's weird.. i ran, reviewed, and finished sc2 with a 9800xt with the latesy cat drivers. have you had any similar problems in other games? see if reinstalling the drivers, dx9 etc helps you. my soundcard is integrated in the motherboard too, so that shouldnt be a problem

thanks, but it didnt work.. infact ive installed drivers from the pandora tomorrow CD, no i didnt have similiar problem before...

no idea what could it be...

by the way demo is working just fine

well, i got it to work!

it wasnt about drivers or windows or whatever software, it was simply bad cd.. ive changed it and installed again.. now its working

Im not happy thought, coz i have alot of work tomorrow, so i dont have chanse to play next 40 hours

but if look at bright side of life i got whole weekend to play it

so bad that game is sortof easy..

but thanks for ur reply interman, everything is just gÃ¼d now so *rock on dude*!
