Is there a difference in score betveen 3Dmark 2003 and 3d mark 2003 pro?

no the benchmarks are the same.

to hit 7k in 3dmark03 you'd need something along the lines of:
a a64 at 2200-2300mhz or a p4 at about 3300-3500mhz with a 9800xt clocked somewhere at about 430 MHz / 390 MHz. (taken off the orb toplist). this means the 2800+ will have to be clocked at a pretty decent speed

On my system, running 60.72Beta drivers I got 9104 Marks.

1280*1024
4x AF
No AA

Everything else default settings.

i seriously doubt that m8. the highest gffx score is 7829, done by a guy with:
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3915 MHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5950 Ultra, 680 MHz / 1063 MHz

to get 9.1k you need something like a 3.2ghz p4 ee @ 4ghz and a 9800xt at about 590mhz/430mhz.

and this is at 1024x768 with no aa/af.

9.1k, maybe in 3dmark01, but not in 03

Ummm, my system is every so slightly better than that mate... I am a 30 year old pro-gamer and I have absolutely no need to lie about my scores... :nxs: I have been following 3D accelerators since the early ATI cards,so dont flame me here...

Anyway, Who the hell do you think you are calling me a liar?

I will see if 3DMark 2001 runs on my current system and post me specs and screenshots of both to prove my point tomorrow after work, last time I checked on my 'old' P4 2.6 it was 13k or something like that... done a format since.

skunk: i dont care who you are. i know you didn't get 9.1k in 3dmark03 at 1280x1024 with 4xAA, and so do you. with a 6800, sure, but no way with anything else. the guy with the highest 1024x768 (no aa/af) score got that running two dual cascades, and he probably wouldn't get 9.1k at 1280x1024

you have a good system, but i can spot fake scores from miles away

p4 2ghz 256 rdram 60gb 7200rpm and a fx5200 128 ddr

is that decent?

Um... Far Cry works fine on mid lvl settings!

i just love the water in that game
