When the FPS is over 100 i dont care who is fastest. And ATi got alittle secret up their sleeves in the next set of ATi drivers. At the time SM3 is really kicking we already have new cards, i also heard that SM3.0 is more expensive than SM2.0b And now companies have seen ATi's 3Dc wich can make 1 x 10.000 polys model into a 1x1000 poly model and it looks just as great almost better. I think the companies will go for that and its also cheap

And alot of people dont care THAT much for fps ( Frames per second ) but they do care about size and how much energy it uses. And here the x800 cards win by miles and miles !

And everyone goes "OMG TEH GOD LOOKS 230 FPS INSTEAD OF YOOOS 180 ! ="?`(?="% " ..... Oh ya like anyone is gonna notice There isnt really any differnce when you get over 150 or 100 for that matter

Oh ya by the way, go to one of these benches and download a x800 and a 6800 image of the benches. Download them and keep scrolling trough em, man now you see why 6800 wins in so many test ( Or atleast tries to ) .... ATi just has a better IQ

What you fail to realize is that when one card runs 30 frames / second faster in one game it should also mean that it'll be the card that'll run the next-gen titles better. When most people buy vidcards they keep them for quite some time, so the performance now denotes how long it'll be viable to keep it.

wow, that's a pretty stupid statement. with the upcoming generation of cards the image quality is equal. ati is faster when you crank up aa/af, but it looks the same.

Interman was ofcorse rght when saying that newer games will be running at 30fps, and then the 10% difference in card speeds will realy matter, but no one knows witch of these cards are realy better, so stop putting some lies here, before real benchmarks are shown.

And why should u drag nvidia fans to ati side? You get paid for it? If not, then dont do it (or do that normal, without flaming).

And there are more and more users using AA/AF and less power

The new nVidia needs it own power plant to run, and its big. And everyone says the 6800 gs is faster than the 800XT but havent seen any test where thats true. And when i buy cards i go for IQ and how fast it runs AA/AF. I dont care about playing a game like Unreal at 200fps ....

But go buy nVidia, for me its all the same. i am just gonna buy ATi ... And many Fanboys are always trying to convince the other part fanboys to come their side. But lets just stop this crap and enjoy life B)

your not having a nice discussion at all, your beeing totally biased.
everyone on the earth says that the IQ is equal (except extreme fanboys like yourself ) as of now with nvidias new card and atis new card.
those images in reviews that have problems are obviously showing problems because there is a bug, like the famous shader iq on a farcry image.

and about the power consume.
this quote fits that nicely

i doubt i will buy any card but if i did i can honestly say that im not sure which card i would get. i know though that i would be happy with whatever card i get :thumbup:
