its a full head to head bench of Alien's X2 vs. Mach's same class comps,thats a real clash of the titans.

wow this benchin should come up with lots of roar and heat when done.(if ever)

not to mention the newest gfx cards suggest 550w+ psu's... for ONE. were gunna need a friend holding a broom to knock us off our pc's when we get zapped.

no they dont. nvidia stated that you should have a 430 watt (or so) powersupply for it. they've now lowered it to 350 watt, which means most people should be able to run it. It's not just the amount of watts you feed it that matter, it's also the quality of the juice you're feeding it. That's also the reason why you should use two connectors; because when the electricity travels down the cable it degrades in a way, so by using two you get a more stable current.

but of course, the powersupply in a pc that'll run two highend vidcards will have to be pretty damn good

talking about the power if you look at the picture you'll see its an "Enermax"
PSU they used for this comp.I'll try not to forget that name when it comes to PSU's.

Oh man 2 cpus and 2 graphic cards, thats an improvment. Playing Half Life 2 on this rig settings on very high and getting 100 fr,wooh amazing. I wonder how much it costs X) . 3000?$

the electrical bill will be pretty impressive if you've got a 800watt psu going 24/7, along with something like a prommy gt, and whatever else.

800W u say hmmz how much RPM is that monster run on? and what the size of the fan? gonna have to put the damn thing in a frizzer maybe?

bcuz the days of "enthusiast built power machines are gone".its a little hard to feel proud of your self built system when those monsters are available in numbers and any noob can own one if he got the money.so you're hardware
knowledge wont help you beating those machines even if you max out your sytem's OC abilities.

now a 10 year old kid can laugh at your "self built machine" and say:I'll leave your rig behind in dust for a mile.

but as for always enthusiasts will continue to build-tweak their own machines but this time just for the fun and good feelings there.

there was Mach super machines b4 but they were not so popular and not so available besides their CPU GPU were just OCed like crazy something a true OCer would feel to pay for proper coolings to reach.

but these X2 monsters would change the story completely.
