Problem with Soldner Demo v.2

When I start the demo it loads it up and at the last screen it crashes to desktop saying that my video card failed or something like that. I also put the patch but got the same thing. I have an AThlon XP 2000+, 512 DDR RAM, and ATI Radeon 9200 with the latest drivers. Does anyone know why this happens? I don't have problems playing any other games including the latest that came out.
