I'm really tired using the same demo's for benchmarking cpu's and vid cards. With all the new games out, are there any with SET benchmarks in them? (not recorded demo's) Really, it's about time to let quake 3 die ;)
so, what do you guys use? please give details (resolution, color depth, refresh rate, etc...) |

i completely agree that new benchmarks are needed. games are fortunately starting to properly use dx9 features, which makes for more interesting benchmarks when testing new cards. doom 3 and half life 2 should be excellent candidates, and of course there's the new version of 3dmark that's on its way.

Well if u guys want some benchmarking, try benchemall.com its a pretty neat software. lets u bench farcry call of booty, wolfenstein, of course quake3,and unreal 2003 or 2004 , or unreal2, but one thing is for sure and that is that u must have those games. www.benchemall.com
