"plus my dad says that i am only playin' games and doing nothing else"
Time to upgrade dude, That comp wont like runnin the new games' coming out this summer. Tell your dad top end computers are only made for gaming. Its not like you need a 3.0ghz, x800xt, 2g dual channel ddr monster for word processing. ;) Good Luck  If you can build one, you can do it pretty cheap.

im getting the impression that you're not very old, which means your budget is tight. try something like a abit nf7-s motherboard, an amd barton 2500+ cpu, an ati radeon 9800 pro (or a used 9800xt), and 2x256mb kingston hyperx or something like Corsair XMS3500. that'll be a cheap combination, but it should play most games easily. if you have more money then you may want to use it on an even faster cpu, or going the athlon 64 route - if so say you're interested and i'll help you find good parts
