I look at the spec not the brand. ATI fan boys you can shove that Radeon up your ass and same for Nvidia fans. They are both good. People stop looking at the Name and look at the Specifications.
If you want to buy a video card that is not expensive but good look at this.

choosing what company can be important

ati have better drivers and customer support

while Nvidia bribed every one to make their cards very compatible with things
