HELP! i have green and purp stripes all over!

If im on desktop and i get this problem i get pruple and green stripes all over my screen and ic an hardly read anything. it just comes randomly out of the blue, and sometimes it was even there everytime i started the computer.

In-game it's alittle different. On the menus i often get the same problem as with the desktop but when i actuakky start playing, a few seconds go by and i think "oh it didn't go berserk after all " then BOOM all of a sudden lots of blurry textures jump back and forth, completely independant from the meshes. and it doesn't even look like textures, just like shiny dark metal or something if you know what i mean.

i have screenies of it from soldiers: heroes of ww2 but i can't paste it in here. anyone know a place i can upload it so you can actually understand what im talking about?

1.50 gig ram
win xp
radeon 9800 pro

sounds like your Graphic Crad memory is screwed....

Yup, same happens to a friend of mine. And his desktop later became a bunch of lines and disapearing letters and such....if it happens to all games then you might get an exchange for your Graphic Card....or buy a new one...whatever your options are.......I get the X800 XT Platinum in a couple of days...say if it comes out.... :dennis:

What, are you saying i can't do anything about it? i have to buy a new graphics card? hell, i bought the whole comp just last summer and now something's already broken!?!?!?!?

GET LATEST DRIVERS FOR GRAPHICS CARD..........thats all

Your g-card prob isnt installed properlly. Last resort is to reformat, then start from scratch with the NEW drivers, NOT the ones your using.
