w00t I just ordered my parts! Here is what I got (from newegg):

Aspire turbo case with side window and 350 Power supply

Sony 16X DVD ROM(reads CD's at 40X)

SAMSUNG 80 GB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive

Microsoft multimedia keyboard and optical mouse combo

512 MB PC-3200 Mushkin RAM

AOC 19 Pure flat CRT monitor

AOpen K8T800 Chipset

Athlon 64 3200+(newcastle core)

Windows XP Home

Saphire Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card

Arctic Cooling CPU Cooler For Athlon 64

Antec Thermal Grease

ive actualy been playing doom 3 with this system:

pentium4 1.3ghz
128mb rdram
Geforcefx5200 256mb @300/500

you all would cry for me if u saw the circumstances i play in
and if you were in my situation youd killyourself before killing another zombie.

this friday im finaly ordering a combo from newegg, im not getting the 3200+ newcastle bc my parents bought me windows xp and now wont help me pay for it
paycheck= 250$... 46 hours at minimum wage SUCKS. i beleive 46 hours is worthy of say 300$ at least.
anyway im getting the amd 3000+ 64 bit and neo motherboard combo for 240 and then ill install my 512 stick of kingston ram and i should be good to go.

you have a better comp than I do now. Right now Im on a P3 800 MHZ, 256MB realy realy old ram, and a geforce ti 4600. I didnt even have that untill 2 months ago when my dads friend gaeve it to us. I get 15-20 FPS on UT2003 1024 X 768 all medium settings.

ur only hurting urself in that processor, scrape up 90 dollars, buy an amd athlon xp barton 2500+ and play ut2004 at highest settings at 1280x1024 and watch it scream.
ti4600 is not bad, not bad at all. ...just a lil old is all.
and 256 ram of any kind beats 128 rdram
