How do I convert .pl file into the actual file!?

I downloaded Galactic Conquest by copying and pasting link into my download manager (FlashGet) and it was 473mb mind you, but it has downloaded (473mb - filehell.pl). It is same size as actual Galactic Conquest setup so it must be the file?? what do I do please help>?

I thought pl is only a link file...but if it is the actual file just try changing the file type to .exe or .rar

I am not real sure what you mean here, but anything you d/l from GH is in a zip file. The exe is in there

Download managers cannot be used with the GH download service. That's why it's messed up.

BUT, if the file.pl is the same size as the file you were trying to download then you should just be able to rename the file to something.zip and extract it just fine. I think.
