Which is better?

i have a discussion with my friend and he says the only thing that makes my computer better is the graphic card.

what do you think?

my computer:
Abit NF7-S2 mainboard
Athlon XP2800+ Barton (little overclocked)
512mb ddr ram pc3200
radeon 9600 256mb

his computer:
Abit IS7 mainboard
Intel Celeron 2,8ghz
512mb ddr ram pc2700
radeon 9200 256mb

we have the same hard drive (120gb Seagate S-ata)

and if we had the same 3d card, which one is the best?

Your friend is wrong, your computer is alot better. Your athlon xp2800 is far faster than his (pentium3)cough, I mean celeron. Also your ram has a higher clock speed meaning it is faster at performing operations than his. Even if you both had the same graphics cards, yours would be better.
