One day, my DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive just decided to not read blank discs any more. I can't burn CD's because it repeatedly asks me to enter a blank CD. I'ce checked every single CD I have, nothing works. I've tried multiple CD Burning systems and they all say 'Please insert blank disc.' Well then my uncle came over to try to fix it and he didn't know what was wrong, but after he left, the drive only reads as a CD-RW drive and that's how it reads in Windows Explorer now. When I start the computer up I get a message saying:
Secondary hard drive disk 1 not found. Strike F1 to continue or F2 for setup screen. When I got to the setup screen and try to activate the drive, it says unknown device and will not change. HELP! Must burn CD's!

Yeah, a guy at work today said he had the same problem and there's no way to fix it. Just have to take it back. I haven't even had it for a year!
