Alien Virus (old game)

Hi. I managed to run this old game under Win98, but I can't make hi-res screenshots. I had no trouble making lo-res (cut-scene) ..ones with SnagIt, but when in game - SnagIt just does not see the keys I press. I tried timed screenshots but that didn't work either.
Then I tried old DOS Screen Thief, but it just crashed on me.

Any suggestions? As you see (in last picture in above link) somebody managed to grab those screen(s). Any suggestions are welcome (I even tried Virtual PC, but AV doesn't even start under it...)

you could try googling for other dos based screen capture programs - should be plenty

@interman: I tried Googling already - and I consider myself pretty good at finding stuff on the Net. Unfortunatelly DOS apps aren't described well anymore, besides - if ScreenThief crashed (and it was considered the best at that time) ..then Googling really may not help. :/

@Nxs: Googling for Infraview did not return anything sensible - it rather suggests Irfanview which is viewing app (that I use BTW). I forgot that it has capturing capabilities, but I really doubt if it will work. Of course I will try anyway
Game cam is just now downloaded (v1.2 is the newest I've found), but the description suggests that it's mainly DirectX/OpenGL - i doubt if it will capture DOS screens, but I will give it a try, too...

The bottom line is (again): how those hi-res pictures on Gamershell were actually captured?

thanx Nxs. I've seen similar pages, but I will maybe try those apps when I will have some spare time. Actually - there is only another version of ScreenThief and 2 other apps that give some hope.. Almost all other apps are screensavers..
update: none of them can be downloaded as links don't work - any other ideas?

..and Game cam is for Windows XP, which means - I can't run it together with AlienVirus (which runs on Win98 only).

NOTHING I tried works. I need help from somebody who has managed to actually make those DAMN Aline Virus screens...
