AGP troubles

BIOS updates from companys liike albetron, asus, dell, aopen, msi, etc. are totally safe screw the old superstition

nothing is safe when your a newbie.
and if you do screw up the bios your in big trouble.
and like i said, why even bother if everything works as it shuld?
always have as a rule to only update the bios if you REALLY need to, not just because you feel like it.

I have exactly the same problem with the other gut except that my mobo isa ECS 865-M7. Ati Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB Vid Card and 512 ddram, please help me find the BIOS and the Chipset Drivers.

I also cant turn on AGP in my system and it should be 8x. The motherboard supports AGP 8x and the Vidcard too but what i get is AGP Off.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

you probley didnt install the chipset drivers alot of people dont realize you have to install them.i had the same problem when i got my motherboard but it was my fault cause i didnt read the instructions.after that i was able to turn on the agp speed.

If you arse around with your BIOS and don't know what you're doing then you can cause big problems.

Especially if you have no back up rig to get on the net with, to try and get info and drivers etc... to correct the problem.

Hi guys... Since helped out these two people.. can you help me! hehe I got a Albatron PX865PE Pro Motherboard and a Raedeon 9800 pro also.. And I have the newest drivers of catalyst but I cant find the damn AGP driver anywhere for this motherboard.. I am hoping someone knows where to get it!
