Alienware is a rip off

Another agrument against Alienware would be they're customer service..... its terrible. I've heard dozens of horror stories from Alienware customers about orders not shipping for over a month and then arriving with "dead" hardware. In addition to that they're phone in tech support is atrocious, I know this first hand as I to sit on hold for just over 45 min while helping a friend fix his comp. Alienware used to the a great company but I think they've just grown too quickly for they're own good, they don't have the infastructure to handle the demand for service and support. Nowadays Alienware is pretty much a shadow of they're former self that manages to string along gulible people with they're marketing department.

I have also heard the same about their customer support and how terrible it is. I also heard ABS is supposed to have the best customer support among computer companies but correct if I am wrong.

I have an Alien Ware laptop and it really really makes me happy but the bad thing though is that it heats too fast and turns of so I needet to buy extra fans.(GOD BESTBUY dont know their prices. They are selling Starsky and Hutch for 19.99 when u can buy it for 4 bucks from FRYS.Some stores are just TOO expensive :P

Hahahaha, I never admitted I was wrong. I added a little more to the topic that is all but I had to clarify myself even further because you still couldn't get a grasp on the issue. The issue, from the beginning, was in my opinion $2,000 for a system with no monitor is a rip off. I keep having to repeat this because you can't seem to get a grasp on the issue.

I had someone else read your replies just to get an objective point of view. You argue just to argue. You aren't saying anything that most of us already know. You tried to educate me about economics which is something most of us have learned in the 6th grade or whichever. How can you sit there and try to educate others when you can't spell properly?

You know very little regarding economics and it shows in your posts. It is ok. You are only 16 and have still alot to learn. It is ok not to know everything but you seem to think you know everything. I never ever mentioned or tried to convey to you or anyone else that I knew everything. I simply shared my opinion and asked others to let me know if they agree or disagree whether Alienware was overpriced or not. You on the other hand decided to argue without making a solid argument. No that not a complement to both of you. its an insult. Alienware builds good rigs, and so they charge a little extra, its your choice, and opinion wether you wanna buy it or not, no one is making you, I don't care if you want to buy an alienware or build your own, I'm pretty sure youll be happy either way(assuming you can build your own, which just about anyone can)

Aruging that alienware is a rip offis like aruging that (fancy) resturants are a rip offs.

Sure they charge a little extra, and you could cook that meal yourself, it really is a choice. and opinion, its not worth aruging, debating, or even talking over.

Alien Ware does build good gaming PCs but they are also overpriced. And i hate the tower with the frontpanel that you open sideway like a door. i hate all these towers with frontpanel...heck, i hate you all....
