Sepht you are right, I did push it a little too far and I did say some things I shouldn't have said. The problem is I started a thread regarding involving one issue and some punk comes along and decides to flame. It was totally out of the blue and uncalled for. I should have just let it go but I didn't and I tried to tell this person why the system was overpriced but he wouldn't listen. Oh well.
As for the case doors, I think they are a pain in the butt too. Everytime you want to load a game or music CD you have to open the front and then load it. I mean it really isn't a big deal and doesn't require that much more time but in my case it is a pain. I just bought a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case and the whole door opens not just the top section so I can't have anything in front of the case when I open it. I knew the case came this way but it is so bad ass I make due. I love the Cooler Master Stacker. What a great idea. KamisoriX I hope you are enjoying it; it definately is a good example of another bad ass case. Is it all aluminum or part aluminum/part SECC steel? Can you put a drive at the bottom and a fan in the middle?

there is no better tower for me than the CM Stacker.
I mean C'mon, it got only slots from top to bottom and all free to your configuration. no retarded lights or strange looking design that lets it looks like a toilett from outer space. besides I think the design is very sexy...almost as sexy as me

Doors are just for poorly designed cases that need somethign to cover up the cd drives in order to look good, try to find a case like the stacker that doesn't have any doors(as they just get in your way) |

These threads really amuse me. People flaming other people, then some more people flaming those people. By the time I got done reading all the posts I forgot what the thread was about... Oh wait I think it was about the whole Alienware VS Homemade PC's, wasn't it? I am one of those guys that built his own, and thinks that all those pebuilts can kiss my PC's um Power supply. Actualy I don't think that. What I do KNOW FOR A FACT is that two of the people at the LAN parties I go to have an Alienware, and a Ibuypower or ABS or Cyberpower(can't rememeber the exact brand) THe guy that has an Alienware has had to return the machine more then FOUR times since he bought it(he has had it a little longer then a year) An as for the guy that got the brand new, I am fairly sure that it was IbuyPower, AMD 64bit Proc, with a gig of RAM and decked out with some of the nicest gear out there, has had at least one problem per LAN party. And as for the guys that have the fairly nice homemade PC's? About the only problems we have are very minor(like can't connect to the network because the network cable is bad, etc.) So I will most likly buy a prebuilt unless it is a Laptop. In which case I will most likely go with Dell. Only because you can get a really nice Laptop for under 3k, where as if I want one from AW I gotsta fork over more then 5k. One of the guys at the LAN parties got a Dell Laptop for under I think 1.5k and it could play UT2K4, fairly nicely at that.
Anyway guys keep on flamming, it is a good entertaining read. ;) |
