doom 3 mod help

hey i was wondering if u could help me with the coop mod i have extracted it into my C:\Program Files\Doom 3\base folder but what do i do now i cant seem to find how to play the mod?

you just staret a multiplayer server and chose Deathmatch and choose a map of the SP game.
