Can u Upgrade LAPTOP

I.ve been wondering can u upgrade a LAptop or u need to buy another one. :bucky!:
BEcause DOOM 3 isnt playing that good on my 7 months old AlienWare laptop

Edit: CAN u Upgrade A Laptop sry.

I called and waited for five minutes then they told me that they dont do that.

So I guess I'll be buying a new desktop computer.
