I am trying to go to a save i made after the incident on the underground of mars city but when i load it. it takes me back to the begining of the level of mars city underground??? i am really anoyed because now i might have to got throught all of it again whats wrong!?!?

you screwed up, and loaded the auto save, jeez, use the quicksave button(F5) and the quickload button (F9)

AUTOSAVES, are called AUTOSave, because they save automatically at the start of each level, its not the game, its you who isn't working.
use quicksaves to load and save, F5 to save and F9 to load
