ive recently reformatted my system and used the latest driver for my radeon 9800xt, but get white snowy bits on screen when I play, apart from that it runs like a dream. Anyone know why?

I get the speckles when my card is overclocked. It's either that, or you need to improve your cooling on the video chip.

another thing is that ATI cards got this stooooopid sticker on the fan that tends to fall of and block the fan.
And i know there was a flawed series of ATI 9800 card sets...dunno if it was the 9800XT thou.

if u used the ATi(40% or Humus) tweak then you might see those, its also a slight glitch on some ATi Cards.
