someone please tell me why i lag in bf1942 and joint operation typoon when playing with more than 32 players. It happens when i have radeon 9600 pro 256 mb. i had fx5200 256 mb and it there was no lag even if i play with more than 64 players.

dude
nothins wrong with your computer,its wrong with the servers ,see that the ppl playing with u dont have a high ping/lantency nad yes if u have a high ping ,dude u will lag its hte dame thing with counter strike...........

DUDE, i have dsl and i formated my pc. if my old fx5200 128 mb wont lag playing with 64 players in bf1942 and joint operation typoon why my new radeon 9600 pro 256 mb should? MY ping is less than 60 in bf1942 and less than 50 in joint operation typoon. I still lag the same playing with 32+ players in joint Op and Bf even if i put shadow off and everything else on slow. Plus it's not the driver problem because i have Cat 4.7. IT WAS FINE WHEN I HAVE THE 128 MB (GEFOCE FX 5200 128 MB) CARD AND IT STARTED TO LAG PLAYING WITH 32+ PLAYERS WHEN I HAVE THE 256 MB CARD( READON 9600 PRO 256 MB)

LOL man you are killing me ..
it may be just lag if you are playing on the net , try to play Lan open a server and play alone ...see if it lags too . cuz NO WAY the fx 5200 is better then the 9600pro

his right ...you do have some crap runing back there
close all progrems ...the once you REALY dont need in order to run the game make it less then 200 MB top for them .

i formated my pc with only bf1942 install but its the same. i think because the new card( 9600 pro) has 256 mb. is it a 256 mb card too much for a 512 ddr ram pc to ram bf1942 with more than 32 players?
