Hey all,
Short and too the point, there are "Legacy Audio drivers" listed under the auio portion of the device manager, and I want to know if they should be as I have an SB Audigy 2 card, I know those are "windows"(MS?) drivers but should there not be only creative ones. ;)
it bothers me cause, well, you should have more than one set of drivers for one device intalled at once .Dig?
It f**ks things up, what if you had ATI CATs. 4.7 and 4.6 installed without uninstalling one first. Know what i mean?
legacy audio drivers are installed on almost all systems- i have em too, dont let it bother you unless youve got a sound problem...messing with sound drivers will sometimes screw up your media system (music, gaming, dvds etc..) all you need to make sure is that the Creative drives are installed and that they are WDM (which all soundcards incorporate..)
