i was checking out the processor im gonna get and idk if i should get the retail with the fan, and heatsink with it, or should i buy this one : http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc....ufactory=BROWSE i would think that the one that comes with amd, would be strong enough to keep it cool, but for some reason i would think that a fan seperate would be even better. Thanks everyone!

you can find a better one then that for an AMD64.

is this a good enough fan to keep the 3000+ not melted.

My advice is the thermal take silent boost for amd 64s. It's what I use in my system, keeps my temps real low (even under full load) and is quite quiet. I think its 30 bucks, so just buy the processor without the heatsink, save a few bucks there, and spend it on the silent boos.
