Career Advise!

Whoh! guys hold on. I havent started coding as yet. I am still doin 3Ds MAX 6.0 but when i get a knwoledge abut it Mods r the first thing i would prefer. But, its no piece of cake. Coders has the worst time in game devo....

This is one of my MAX work tht i hav done in the recent week it took me a total of 8 hours Approx to make it.No plz dont confuse it 4 a Paper drawing coz the textures tht i hav given to it is to make it look cartoonish ('Ink n Paint tool to be precise) chk it out ans tell me how it is. Maybe u can get a real life one also

I wanted to get into that kind of thing for a while too. Go to college at Full Sail down in Florida and all that stuff. But I don't have any real.. credentials for that kind of thing besides just normal english math science history. I'm really good at all of that but.. it's a huge risk. Ill probably end up doing something that pays well that I really don't like. Oh well

Well buddy ur getting it wrong by sayin theres too much risk involved in this field. Infact its nearly negliaible. Trust me when i say tht coz this career hasnt been explored much 4 now and has a very good scope for the ppl who want to go in it.

I donno if I has seen it resembling to the dream cast gun. but, yes i should say tht i got it off the net. It was made by some modeller. I found it cool ans though why cant i make it so i did (Well i think so) but now tht I hav enough confidence tht i can make a gun I will go 4 some thing original. If u hav seen the few of my other works tht I hav uploaded on the same link (Those r jus the beginning ones I did) I hav done some diff org stuff also only the turtle I modelled was the Finding Nemo char. the concept is nice. maybe a few more angles. and a model would be sweet.

Dundee/Abertay university (Scotland/UK) has a great games dev course, I know 3 people who've graduated and walked straight into jobs.
