I feel your pain i have the same problem and yet i downloaded it on a friend's pc and it worked perfectly fine.ERRRRRRRRRR I am soooooooo mad stupid directx 9.0c ! So don't worry your not the only one.I got the game as a b-day present and cannot play it and i got it last friday.So i have been working on since then.My mom talked about taking it the computer repair service tomorrow.

Okies. I found what I thought to be a solution to uninstalling all the old DirectX files.
It recommended I restart the computer in safe mode, then run UNDX9.bat. Well...after going to my Windows XP help, it told me how to restart the computer in safe mode. When the computer was rebooting, hit F8 when the screen that said "Please select operation system" popped up. Well boy and girls, no such luck. No screen popped up like that *at* all. So, what do we do now? |
