Softmodding my 5200, question

ive been overclocking this fx5200 since about a week after i got it, one xtra case fan and the stock fan. Stock= 250/400, stable OC is 300/500 for me, though i use 320/460, i want to softmod to FX5200ultra and i hear the chaintech, which i have, is the most flashable and goes 350/650, which sounds very nice. i think i can crank up coolbits to similar frequencies, but when i do that it doesnt pass the test phase on coolbits, will flashing it make it stable to run at those frequencies? if need be i can buy some cooling from newegg for the vga... anyway i guess the question is will it be stable at frequencies i cant handle normaly? btw its a 256mb 128 bit if that helps

i just got through my 3rd hurricane, my new amd 64 3000 from newegg rig didnt work so i need to rma the parts and i havent been able to access storage as of yet from the hurricanes and postage was unavailable just prior to the hurricane. im not going to buy a new video card to boost a peice of shit pc like the one im using right now, nor am i retarded, did i post something bad since the month ive been away for hurricanes bc it seems i have a repuation as a retarded kid.. oooooooook. yes the fx5200 is flashable, or at least the one i have is, and its the same core as the 5200 ultra, thanks for no help guys, the petty shuning also helped alot too! :thumbup:

Even if the new card bios changes the ram timmings, hence allowing greatter stability (or not) at higher clocks. You've just about proved that you're ram chips will not withstand the new clocks (ultra clocks), so no! Don't flash, unless you're just aiming for a screen name and nothing more.
