Last night i downloaded and installed prince of persia2 with no problem at all,but when i double clicked the desktop icon the auto detect said i have an an insufficiant cpu and crashed my desktop?
I only downloaded it out of curosity as i have never played pop1 so its not that big a deal but my question is: has anyone else with a 64bit system encountered the same problem as im reckoning thats what the problem is as ive noticed there's a few games out there that 64bit cpus dont like talking to"so to speak":and also is this another game specifically designed for p4?if so then maybe i should of held back on buying amd64 for now as by the time 64bit windows is out along with 64bit specified games i'll probley need to upgrade what ive already got"catch 22" :bucky!:

Probably their software that was written to detect people's system specs isn't expecting to see an AMD64 and rather than try testing the processing speed it just simply says that you don't have enough power.

Does the software then not even let you play the game? It should still let you play it and with that much horsepower POP2 should work like a champ.
Hell it works great on my PC and my machine isn't anything special.

Weird, maybe it goes back to an old post of mine"64bit psu"as im still using the same naff one,but then again theres a difference between taking a performance hit and somthing near enough not working.
All i can add is the likes of farcry play nice and smooth with everything maxxed out,so it doesnt figure pop2 will hardly play at all?
I think procs was right as when i got the game working a message came on the screen saying i would see a performance increase if i were to upgrade my cpu?maybe its only 64bit on socket939?
Anyone else with same trouble?
