RollerCoaster Tycoon 2

I just bought RollerCoaster Tycoon and I like to do tutorial since I can start from scratch and make everything look how I want it. But when I make a ride it won't let me change the price? It just stays at free and I can't change it. I can change the price for the food stands, drink stands, etc..but why not rides? Am I missing something? Thanks

Check the scenario of the mission you're attempting, tutorial... you probably have unlimited funds which would explain not being able to charge anything. Some missions give you infinite cash which is why you can't set prices on things like that.

And if it's just the tutorial... who cares?

Well I just like to start from scratch and make everything how I want it, which as far as I can see isn't possible in any of the scenarios because everything is pretty-much already there, right? So I like tutorial mode because I can do everything I want to on an empty area, but it sucks because the only thing I make money off of is people entering the park and concessions >.< I just think it's fun to start from scratch and create everything yourself.

Just play a scenario in which it tells you to start from scratch by building a park of X value with Y visitors with Z park value by (month) of year T or something like that.

This is right, some of the scenarios have just a gate fee and then all the rides are free and cannot be changed
