How much ram?

I've sold 3x 512 mb now.. I'll have to survive using 512.. I think it'll be ok. The point of this thread was to see how much ram u guys use... dont wanna loose to much performance..

2 Gigs of RAM in Gaming decreases your recovery time back to desktop after a heavy job of gaming probably alittle more than 1 Gig.But also you will have to use looser DDR timings with 2Gigs of RAM,surely a bad thing for AMD Based Systems.

Well i have 2 gig of memory, never use all that like, as i am writing this just checked how much ram i am using, so far 345 meg, i know that when i played the sims, that takes up about 256 meg of memory itself, all i do sometimes is look at memory usage before running game then run the game either windowed or minimise it if you can and then check how much memory been used now, minus the memory before, so when i run the sims i am actually using total memory of 601 meg, thats including the 345 meg that windows took up itself, ok i hope you understand, so stick with the 1 gig.
